The Badger Creek Blueberry Farm, a family-run farm, vineyard, and cafe, is located near to the renowned Healesville Sanctuary and has been in business since 2007.

The lush property gives a stunning view of the Yarra Valley’s majestic mountainous escarpments and overlooks some of Healesville’s most gorgeous places.

From December through February, the Badger Creek farm sells fresh berries. However, the farm sells a variety of frozen berries all year long, so you may still visit at any time of the year. Additionally, the farm offers blueberry plants for wholesale. You can talk to the farmers at Badger Creek and ask them for guidance and recommendations on starting a blueberry farm.

A cafe on the premises serves tea and coffee along with delightful snacks like baked goods. Try their homemade muffins, berry pancakes, patties, baked cheesecake, and their well-known apple and blueberry strudel along with their Devonshire tea or freshly brewed coffee.

In addition to exquisite fruit wines, Badger Creek Blueberry Winery Farm also makes a variety of fortified and still wines. Visitor tastings of their house specialty blueberry sparkling wine are available. There is a winery on-site, and the cellar door offers a variety of special fruit wines, including sparkling wine and port.

You can also sample some of their handcrafted berry items. So that you can sample their homemade jams and jellies before deciding to buy.

Wine Tasting At Badger Creek Blueberry Winery

The wines produced by Badger Creek Blueberry Winery are unique since they are created entirely from Australian blueberries.

A blueberry style Moscato, blueberry still wine, blueberry fortified wine, blueberry fortified wine aged in barrels, and méthode traditionnelle blueberry sparkling wine are all produced at Badger Creek Blueberry Winery.

It is also where St. Ronan’s Cider is produced, therefore you can sample this celebrated cider there.

The winery’s cellar door is a pleasant, laid-back area where you may sample these amazing wines and ciders, have a cheese or snack platter, a plate of house-made sausage rolls, or simply relax with a coffee and indulge in seasonal desserts.

There are tasting paddles available that contain 4 x 100ml portions of their preferred beverages—2 blueberry wines and 2 ciders. Groups of 8 or more must make reservations.

Berry frozen products are offered all year long or until they run out. Fresh fruit produced on the farm during the summer and fall is also offered for sale.

Homemade preserves produced from berries and other fruits that were grown and gathered on the farm are also sold at the cellar door.
